In terms of AI, the major problem is the time we left. A lot of research show that we can actually do nothing with it. What we actually can do is comforting human being by making contributions in the rest of the time.

Many say laws can prohibit us from attacks of AI, but I want to argue that it is in vain. AI is getting much smarter than ever since. As long as its intelligence surpasses human, it will definitely be out of control. Making laws only restrict human being, but it cannot restrict a being that is many times smarter than us. As a human being, we may be deterred by severe punishments, such as stripe law in Singapore, death punishments, etc. If you sentence an AI to death, the only man to be dead is yourself. AIs are not afraid of any law punishment because they are strong enough to defend themselves.

What we can do is to live our best before human extinct from the earth. Making our society better is our priority. There are too many citizens live below the poverty line. If they cannot achieve to live happily, that will be a great regression for all of us. Some short-sighted people don’t realize the upcoming catastrophe. They are enjoying their lives in their mansions. I cannot accuse them of corruption but their good lives are about to end.

There are some examples that we can study with. Bangladesh economist Muhammad Yunus established a system of rural banks, which allow poor people to manage their wealth. Before that, hundreds of millions of poor people don’t have any idea of personal finance. Now their living condition improved significantly through that kind of banks. Also, there are even more poor people haven’t heard of finance, a word for the rich. We should let them know more things about the developed world, like the internet, sharing bikes, and so on.

Before the extinction, the human can do a bunch of things to make our planet a better place to live. We still have, perhaps, tens of years to live. I am eager to see a more equal, happier and more harmonious world before I die or be killed by AI.
