Student Testimonials on Teaching Excellence

  1. I feel that he related to the students of his class very well which makes me want to take another one of his classes. He understood what he was talking about and made sure explain it to the class in ways that we would also understand. I felt very confident in his class because he didn’t make us feel stupid or anything for not knowing the content.
  2. The instructor integrated real world topics that apply to the course in a way that made the content more interesting and easyto apply logically.
  3. I enjoyed his teaching style and real world examples tied into concepts. His explanations were simple but effective at gettingpoints across.
  4. Great teacher
  5. He’s very detail on things that he taught. For instance, when we learn about a topic, he would either give an example on how to apply a formula or a real event case on a theory or concept that we were talking about.
  6. I enjoyed the way he teaches the class. I think a good thing he could do is do a warm-up question.
  7. Clear, I’m satisfied with the teaching
  8. Professor Luo was a great professor for this course. He made the content easy to understand. He was very fair about his grading and was always available to talk if any students needed anything.
  9. Professor Luo is a great teacher. He makes sure to engage the class by asking them questions and giving them points for participating.
  10. I enjoyed this class, I have no notes.
  11. I thought the teaching was very good overall. I think he is very knowledgeable and always answers questions and is there to help.
  12. I enjoy his teaching I feel as thought if he can be more interactive with the class as too reading the slides to the class.
  13. Give participation points for attendance to encourage kids to show up but have it remain extra credit, the incentive goes a long way and I became discouraged from attending the course after seeing the lack of peer participation.
  14. He was a very nice professor and obviously knew a lot about the subject. If he made the lectures a little more engaging, I believe he would make his class even better.
  15. I liked it I just felt like maybe there could’ve possibly been more information on the slides etc.
  16. I enjoyed his teaching and he was able to relate the topics to today’s events.
  17. He is very thoughtful and does a great job breaking down information to its simplest form, making it easier to understand the material without feeling overwhelmed. I also appreciate that he offers extra credit opportunities through participation and makes it clear that effort is valued more than just the final grade. That approach really motivates me to engage in class because it feels like the focus is on learning and growth, not just on earning points.
